Quicksilver Manufacturing

Quicksilver Manufacturing is the world's largest producer of ultralight aircraft, selling some 15,000 aircraft. The company’s designs are thoroughly tested, superbly supported, and have an excellent safety record.

When ultralights first arrived on the scene, Quicksilver was the most professional company involved, with aircraft that had been thoroughly designed and manufactured to the high standards of conventional aviation. More than two decades later, Quicksilver remains one the industry's most important leaders.

Quicksilver offers two design types: the MX series and the GT series representing several models. The former are delightful open-cockpit aircraft that have been used to train more pilots than any other light aircraft. Flight schools the world over use the MXL II Sport more any other model in the industry and tens of thousands of individual owners enjoy their MX aircraft on a daily basis.

The GT series, consisting of the single seat GT400 and the two-seat tandem GT500, are highly developed aircraft new from nose to tail when they were released. GT500 has the enviable distinction of being the very first to win FAA's Primary Category certification. Naturally, then, the GT500 will be one of the first approved as a Light-Sport Aircraft SLSA but the entire line will easily qualify. You can't go wrong with any airplane from this California company. Ring up national sales representative Todd Effefson to hear all you need to know before buying one of the Quicksilver models that most interests you.
